Julian Machado Rigg is a Brazilian-Australian photographer and photo editor for The Wall Street Journal currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

 

Rigg focuses on photojournalism and documentary photography.

Working both with digital and analog mediums, Rigg has found himself documenting the world from the comunidades of Rio de Janeiro, to the streets of Dakar and the residents of a New Jersey motel.

He graduated from Montclair State University with a B.A. in Journalism in 2022.​
